ABSTRACT
Municipal laboratories are facing increasing regulatory demands leading to growing compliance fatigue. A Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) can serve as a critical ally turning repetitive laboratory tasks into intelligent, automated workflows that safeguard data integrity and ensure laboratories are better prepared for assessments. In this presentation, Ethosoft will explore several key areas of assessment compliance that a LIMS may assist with during audits such as analyst certifications and training records, schedule and unscheduled instrument maintenance, inventory traceability, reference documentation, and data acceptance and reviews. Effectively utilizing LIMS help reduce the stress and uncertainty of audits by ensuring compliance verification is more organized, transparent, and defensible.
