ABSTRACT
Dow and other manufacturing organizations annually outsource hundreds of thousands of critical environmental samples to third-party vendors, spending millions of dollars in the process. We rely on the accuracy and integrity of this data to support permits, operating licenses and our reputations within local communities. How can we ensure the highest quality analytical data and customer service to confidently and effectively sustain our programs?
This session will explore Dow’s proactive approach to partnering with preferred third-party laboratory vendors, ensuring quality services, consistent pricing, and reliable data. We will discuss the steps employed by Dow’s Environmental Lab Management Program team and the program framework, including examples of objectives, audit structure, metrics, tracking tools and successes.
