Maya Abou-Ghanem
Maya Abou-Ghanem started her position as an Application Scientist at TOFWERK USA in October 2023. In this role, she focuses on developing new applications for TOFWERK's chemical ionization mass spectrometers. She holds a PhD in atmospheric chemistry from the University of Alberta, where her research focused on the reactions between dust aerosol and gas-phase pollutants. Prior to joining TOFWERK, Maya Abou-Ghanem received an NRC-RAP award to conduct a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, CO, where she specialized in single-particle mass spectrometry on aircraft platforms.
