Cody Danielson
Cody Danielson is the Assistant Director for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality’s State Environmental Laboratory Services Division, which encompasses the State Environmental Laboratory and the Oklahoma DEQ Laboratory Accreditation Program. She has worked in governmental laboratories for the entirety of her professional career. After earning her BS in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, she spend 4 years working at Oklahoma’s Public Health Laboratory as a mycologist/mycobacteriologist. She then joined Oklahoma DEQ’s State Environmental Laboratory as an Environmental Microbiologist where she spent 4 years as a bench scientist and 7 years managing the Environmental Microbiology Section. She has served in her current role as the Division's Assistant Director for 3 years. In her time at the Oklahoma DEQ, she has become a Subject Matter Expert in Environmental Microbiology as well as a TNI Basic Assessor and EPA Drinking Water Certification Officer for Microbiology and Cryptosporidium.
