Kendra Adams
Kendra received her PhD in Chemistry from Florida International University, where she analyzed biological samples via liquid chromatography coupled to ion mobility and mass spectrometry. She developed novel methods for the separation and detection of lipids in cell pellets and endocrine disruptors such as PCBs and PBDEs in whole blood. Following her PhD, Kendra did her postdoctoral research at Duke University in the Duke Proteomics and Metabolomics Core Facility in collaboration with the Department of Neurology. She developed methods for the detection of biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease using LC-MS and CE-MS. For the past three years, Kendra is an application scientist at SCIEX specializing in food & environmental applications for North America.
