ABSTRACT

ASTM committee D19 on water is developing a new method for the analysis of polar pesticides and herbicides by Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). This method aims for a simplified approach to analyze the regulated (at SDWA, CWA, and RCRA) pesticides and herbicides without requiring post column derivatization or Liquid: Liquid Extraction with diazomethane derivatization and similar. Descriptions of the methods and single lab data will be presented.
