Patrick Travers
Patrick Travers is a senior forensic chemist with Environmental Standards. Previously he founded PDT Engineering, a geochemical consulting firm and prior to PDT, he helped build and run a commercial hydrocarbon stable isotope laboratory, one of only a few such labs in the country. During his ten years with the laboratory, he supervised the analysis of thousands of oil, natural gas and water samples collected as part of Colorado’s evolving oil and gas regulations, interpreted chemical and isotopic data for clients and developed new opportunities and applications for stable isotope analysis, most recently serving as COO and partner at that company. Patrick’s current work with Environmental Standards focuses on hydrocarbon forensic investigations and environmental monitoring around oil and gas development, as well as other chemical and environmental forensics projects. Patrick earned a BS in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Wyoming
