Tarun Anumol
Author: Stephan Baumann studied at the University of North Carolina where he received a BS in Chemistry in 1990. For the next fifteen years he worked his way through several roles as an analytical chemist and manager in the environmental, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries. He joined Agilent Technologies in 2005 as an application chemist with responsibility for both GC and LC/MS platforms based on his many years of industrial experience. Stephan excelled at statistical analysis with many application notes and several publications on the topic. He joined Agilent’s global marketing team in late 2018 supporting academic customers. During the pandemic, his role shifted to infectious disease but has since switched back to developing technical materials for the food and environmental markets.
Presenter: Tarun Anumol is currently the Director for the Global Environment Markets at Agilent Technologies.
Prior to this, he was an LC-MS applications scientist at Agilent, focused on developing analytical methods for trace contaminants on LC-MS/MS and LC-Q/TOF in the food and environmental matrices. Tarun has a strong history of working in the environmental testing industry, with a background in technical and applied science, with over 30 peer-reviewed journal publications in this area.
Prior to joining Agilent, Tarun graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemical & Environmental Engineering
from the University of Arizona and an MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
