Michael Perry
Currently, the Water Quality (WQ) and Treatment Laboratory QA Officer, Michael joined the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) in 2004 in the first official role of Regulatory Compliance and QA Coordinator. During his 18 years, the Lab has worked towards establishing standards of excellence and a culture of quality worthy of recognition as a World Class Laboratory.
Prior to LVVWD, Michael worked in the Biotech industry at Applied Biosystems in Foster City, CA for 8 years. His career in the scientific community began at the Eppley Cancer Institute in Omaha, NE where he was part of a team conducting breast cancer research which resulted in scientific publications.
Michael earned a M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University in 2019 and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Kansas State University in 1994.
