This guide governs all ASTM Committee D19 on Water method development activity if the intent of the method is for ASTM to submit the method to EPA for SDWA or CWA approval. The presentation demonstrates similarities and differences to other documents published by organizations such as EPA or AOAC. A step by step summarization of the requirements for method developers is included.
