ABSTRACT
The EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water (OGWDW) will provide a brief overview of the federal drinking water program, including updates on recent activities. Topics will include drinking water method development activities, proposed drinking water regulations, implementation of the fifth cycle of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 5), and review of other priority EPA drinking water programs. The drinking water Alternative Testing Procedure (ATP) program will be reviewed along with the Expedited Method Approval process, which designates additional analytical methods as approved for drinking water compliance monitoring.
