ABSTRACT

US EPA Method 608.3 is an analytical procedure for the determination of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in wastewater samples. The latest method revision, USEPA 608.3, specifically allows for reduction of sample volumes from one liter down to as low as 100mL sample volumes. In this session we will demonstrates how to utilize automated extraction platforms and high though put concentrators to accomplish a 10X reduction in sample volumes required for organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
The attendees will learn a method on how to reduce their sample volumes for organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and polychlorinated biphenyls with method (PCBs) USEPA 608.3. They will learn the latest workflows that will enable them to accomplish this that will result in quantifiable improvements in operational efficiency.
