ABSTRACT
The EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water (OGWDW) will provide a brief overview of the federal drinking water program, including updates on recent activities. Topics will include development of the fifth Contaminant Candidate List (CCL 5), early implementation and preparations for monitoring under the fifth cycle of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Regulation (UCMR 5), and review of other priority programs. Some programmatic elements of the laboratory certification program will also be discussed.
