Zikri Arslan is an analytical chemist specializing in method development and environmental analysis using plasma source emission and mass spectrometry -ICP-MS and ICP-OES. Arslan worked at Jackson State University as analytical chemistry faculty member supervised graduate students in MS and PhD programs from 2003 until his departure in summer of 2019. Dr. Arslan has served as peer-reviewer for more than 20 journals and has published 80 papers in refereed journals. He is also serving as guest editor of Molecules (MDPI) for the special issue “Advances and Future Trends in Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry”. Currently he is working as analytical chemist at US Geological Survey, Rocky Mountain Region in Denver Colorado.
