Xiaoyan Li is currently a research assistant in environmental engineering at Michigan State University with Dr. Rebecca Lahr. He received a master of science in environmental engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2015 and a bachelor of engineering in agricultural engineering at China agricultural engineering in 2013. He worked with Dr. Chen Zhu as a research assistant in geology department of Indiana University-Bloomington from 2015 to 2016. His current research is utilizing machine learning technologies to facilitate low concentration contaminant detection in the environment.
