Richard G. (Rick) Mealy
Program Chemist, Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources 2003 to present. He worked as an Audit Chemist 1992-2003.
Mr. Mealy received the Koby Crabtree for Educational Excellence in 2010 from the Wisconsin Wastewater Operator's Association. He was a nominee for the Wisconsin DNR's Rebecca Wallace Award in 2011. In 2016, Mr. Mealy was elected as the first state regulatory official to serve on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Wastewater Operator's Association.
Mr. Mealy earned a B.S. in Biology (Marine Emphasis) and a Chemistry Minor from Southeast Massachusetts University (now known as UMass Dartmouth) in 1980. From 1981-1984 he completed coursework for an M.S. in Water Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.
Prior to coming to the Wisconsin DNR, Mealy managed Quality Assurance programs at 3 major laboratories from 1985-1992.
