Barkley SIVE
Dr. Barkley C. Sive is an atmospheric chemist in the Air Resources Division of the National Park Service where he serves as the Program Manager for the Gaseous Pollutant Monitoring Program (GPMP). He received his Ph.D. in Analytical and Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, where his dissertation work focused on analytical techniques for atmospheric measurements of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. Prior to joining the National Park Service in 2013, he spent 13 years in academia where his research focused on atmospheric VOC measurements.
