ABSTRACT

The analysis and evaluation of the extent of groundwater contamination of PFAS compounds can be costly. The time and cost of transporting samples to a fixed lab and the time it takes for sample analysis and evaluation can add substantially to field investigation costs. Those costs may actually seem small, in a relative sense, when you consider the cost of personnel and equipment in the field waiting on sample analysis results.

An analytical technique has been developed that will allow for mobilization of the analytical instrumentation to the site and the generation of near real time data. This presentation will cover the development and validation of the method as well as the logistics of the field deployment.
