Bob Shannon

Mr. Shannon has supported radiochemical testing needs for over 25 years. His radioanalytical measurements expertise provides him with a broad-scoped perspective on laboratory operations, quality systems, and their role in environmental radiochemistry projects. He received a bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College in 1982 before spending nearly a decade working with foreign students at the University of Freiburg in Germany. He held several positions with commercial laboratories before taking a job at Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site as deputy manager of Bldg. 559 Plutonium Laboratories and Analytical Services subject matter expert for radiobioassay and radiochemistry.
