ABSTRACT

Almost every air sampling method method has a different flow, volume, and duration. They also require different supplies to collect a sample like tedlar bags, summa cans, sorbent tubes, filters, and other media. In most cases this requires multiple pumps, calibration units, or expensive hardware. We will demonstrate how a end user can automate all of these diverse methods using our software Airview and just one device, the eAir.

These new tools combine cloud based data storage, EPA,NIOSH, and OSHA method libriaries, with CDC TOXNET analyte health and safety information, live and historical weather data, and a plug and play sensor platform (the eAir).
We will include a demonstration of EPA method TO-15 using a trigger, NIOSH 1500 using a timer, and OSHA 1001. We will also give an overview of the collected data with comparisons to OSHA, NIOSH, and ACGIH exposure limits and health related information.
