ABSTRACT
The presentation will center on developing an inventory of needs that a laboratory manager or consultant needs to develop to prepare a bid/request for proposal (RFP) for a LIMS system to be utilized by a laboratory performing regulatory analyses for Safe Drinking Water Act or Clean Water Act samples. The presenter will go over the development of inventory check lists to be used to identify specific needs for the LIMS users, IT department and regulatory auditors. Specific attention will be paid to the 12 minimum Quality Control requirements in 40 CFR part 136 and the types of reports needed.
