ABSTRACT
Round two testing under US EPA Long-Term Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule 2 (LT2) will begin in 2015. Several changes have occurred that effect laboratories performing this testing. Among these changes include an update to the EPA-approved testing method, EPA Method 1623.1. Changes to this method will be covered. Additionally, improved Quality Control/Quality Assurance measures for this method will be covered.
Several method tips and common deficiencies found in labs that implement this type of testing will also be covered from a State Assessors point of view.
