Michael Perry
Michael J. Perry is the Director of Delivery and Quality at Labworks LLC, a role he has held since 2025. In this position, Perry collaborates with laboratory stakeholders to design and implement enterprise LIMS workflows that support data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient end-to-end sample management, while also mentoring technical account managers and quality professionals.
Prior to joining Labworks, Perry spent 21 years with the Southern Nevada Water Authority’s Drinking Water Quality Laboratory, where he served in progressively responsible roles including Quality Assurance Officer and QA and Regulatory Compliance Coordinator. During his tenure, he managed laboratory quality systems supporting Safe Drinking Water Act and Clean Water Act accreditation, worked extensively with state and national accreditation bodies, and ensured compliance across chemistry and microbiology operations. He has also contributed as a subject matter expert to national laboratory standards development efforts.
Earlier in his career, Perry held senior quality assurance and systems analyst roles at Applied Biosystems, supporting FDA-regulated laboratories and enterprise information systems, and began his professional path in molecular biology research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Perry holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Kansas State University. His professional expertise spans laboratory quality systems, regulatory compliance, LIMS implementation, data integrity, and scientific leadership.
