Lauren Webb
Prior to joining A2LA, Lauren received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Aquatics, from Shepherd University. Prior to joining A2LA, Lauren worked as a quality control Principal Lab Technician and Hazardous Waste Lead for a chemical manufacturing plant for 5 years. Lauren joined A2LA as an Accreditation Officer in 2021 and has progressed to Senior Accreditation Officer since. She supports the day-to-day operations of accreditation by assisting laboratories in obtaining and maintaining accreditation in the chemical, biological, and environmental fields of testing. Lauren’s main focus is on the State Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (SELAP). However, she also helps maintain the National Lead Laboratory Program (NLLAP), Field Sampling and Management Organization (FSMO), and Dod Geophysical Classification Accreditation (DAGCAP) programs at A2LA. Additionally, Lauren performs Quality Management System assessments on behalf of A2LA and is a qualified staff evaluator to perform oversights of assessors performing various types of assessments.
