Lily Vuong Sanchez is a Supervising Chemist at Orange County Water District in Southern California, where she provides day-to-day leadership for analytical staff and laboratory operations, supports analysts, manages workloads and turnaround times, and ensures regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement.
She leads PFAS method implementation and standardization efforts, overseeing LC-MS/MS and GC-MS workflows, method validation, and optimization for aqueous matrices, with a focus on harmonizing practices and improving data quality and comparability.
