ABSTRACT
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) has been one of the hottest topics in the environmental remediation in recent years. Claros Technologies started its journey in PFAS remediation in response to the need. The Claros Analytical Laboratory (ClarosLabsTM) was established primarily to support the development of PFAS destruction technology starting six years ago. From its early days, the laboratory focused on generating high-quality analytical data with an extremely fast turnaround time. In addition to technical expertise, this required a reliable analytical platform, software, and an implementation strategy. In this session, Claros will share its story of the lab going from nonexistent to fully functional with ISO accreditation. Lessons, tips, and tricks will be shared with the audience in addition to the demonstration of the lab capabilities in analyzing both legacy and emerging PFAS compounds and unknown PFAS screening.
