ABSTRACT
The SW-846 Compendium, formally titled "Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods (SW-846)”, is EPA's official collection of test methods for use in complying with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act regulations. This presentation will provide a status update to NEMC attendees on current and planned SW-846 method development activities, including:
• Sample preservation, holding times, and analytical methods for volatile organic chemicals
• Analytical methods for PFAS testing
• Inorganic sample preparation and analytical methods
• Collaboration with ASTM International on interlaboratory studies for flash point testing
• Progress on adapting SW-846 LEAF methods 1313-1316 to aqueous leaching of organics
• Newsletters, web updates, and more
