ABSTRACT
Among the states where TNI Standard is ratified by the state regulators, many municipal labs are TNI accredited, or seek to be TNI accredited, especially those test drinking water. How do you set a solid foundation in achieving/maintaining compliance with the TNI standard, systematically utilizing corrective actions to resolve issues like failed PT, common findings from internal audit, biennial assessment, while incorporating all the challenges of limited resource availability that are common for municipalities, staff training and retention, procurement and other governmental policies that are within the control of the laboratory's managers and QA/QC officers.
