ABSTRACT

Field sampling and measurements are critical components in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of environmental data. The reliability begins with how samples are collected, handled, and measured in the field. A comprehensive framework to address these critical aspects is provided in TNI Field Sampling and Measurement Organization (FSMO) Standard. This presentation will discuss key components and implementation concepts of the new TNI FSMO Volume 1 Standard that include:

· Quality management systems specific to field operations

· Strategic planning for field activities

· Technical requirements for sampling and measurement

· Documentation and record-keeping
