Dr. Richard Danielson
Dr. Richard Danielson is a Sr. Sales Executive with Confience and has been in this role for more than 3 years. He has also been the Lab Director of IEH-BioVir Laboratories for more than 23 years. As Lab Director of a State Accredited and ISO lab, he has extensive experience in lab operations and the need for producing legally defensible data. He has 20 years’ experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Previously, he served as the Chief of the Environmental Microbial Diseases Section at the CA Dept. of Health Services as well as a US FDA certified Lab Evaluation Officer. His experience includes water/wastewater, state and federal regulatory agencies, the Department of Defense; and, method validation for the US EPA. Dr. Danielson holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from University of San Diego; a M.S. in Microbiology from California State University, Fullerton; and, a Ph.D. as an Environmental and Public Health Microbiologist from University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health.
