Victoria Pretti
Victoria Pretti created a career in public health, environmental regulatory compliance, quality assurance/quality systems, and environmental lab testing and sampling over the past 25 years. Victoria was the director of New York State’s Department of Health, Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP). Victoria joined ELAP in 2008 as its quality assurance officer and continued to hold that role while also directing the program. At present, Victoria is a research scientist for New York State’s Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) and manger of the Cannabis Laboratories Program under the Department of Licensing, Compliance, and Laboratories. She joined OCM in 2022 to draft regulations, standards and policies related to independent sampling and lab testing of cannabis.
