ABSTRACT

Changes in societal expectations and transparency in operations are front and center regarding how we do business. As a result, scoring services and lengthy questionnaires for all aspects of Sustainability, now referred to as Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) have become a common requirement from many sources. Clients/customers have many choices therefore labs may be having to respond to 5 or more different scorecard reporting services, in addition to related questions be added to contracts outside of the services. The attention in this area is driving actions by laboratories but are not necessarily solving the issue. This session will cover reality, options, and challenges to meeting the expectation, while working to have a meaningful sustainability program.
