Jason S. Herrington, PhD
Jason joined Restek in 2011 after spending over 10 years in environmental analysis, most notably as a postdoctoral research fellow with the U.S. EPA focusing on the development of techniques for organic speciation of ambient gas-phase and particulate air toxics.
He has a BS in environmental sciences from Rutgers University and a PhD in exposure science from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His wide-ranging work has been published in dozens of peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented around the world.
As the R&D Director for Restek’s GC Solutions, Jason is heavily involved with the development and application of new and existing GC columns and accessories; air sampling supplies; reference standards; and sample preparation products.
Jason Hoisington
Jason received his bachelor’s degree in General Science with a focus on chemistry from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Jason worked for 6 years doing environmental soil and water testing at SGS Environmental, and 6 years doing lab and application support at the Dow Chemical Company. He joined Restek in 2019 and has focused on air applications and PFAS sample prep.
