Kathy Kerridge
Kathy Kerridge is a cum laude graduate from the University of Michigan. She practiced law for 20 years after graduating from the University of California Law, San Francisco, (formerly Hastings). She then taught elementary school for 13 years. Retirement has enabled her to pursue interests she has had her whole life.
Kerridge is on the Board of Directors of the Benicia Community Air Monitoring Program, which was funded by the Good Neighbor Steering Committee, of which she is a member. She was on Benicia’s Community Sustainability Commission, from 2010 to 2019 as chair and vice chair. She works with Air Watch Bay Area, to do regional and national reporting on refineries. She was recently selected to work with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to develop environmental justice research ideas to guide potential projects for the 2025-2030 time period. Kerridge is also active politically, chairing the local Democratic club in Benicia and working with 350 Bay Area Action on state legislation that promotes tackling climate change.
