Scott Siders

Scott had a 40+ year career in the environmental field, both in the private sector as a Chemist, Project Manager, Quality Programs Administrator, Sales Representative and a Director of Quality Assurance. Scott also worked for the USEPA's Superfund Analytical Services Branch (CLP) and for many years within the Illinois EPA’s Division of Laboratories. From 2006-2015, he was the Illinois EPA’s representative on the TNI NELAP Accreditation Council.

Scott was directly involved with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), where he served as the Chair of the NELAC Quality Systems Committee and was a member of the NELAC Board of Directors.

For ten years he was an elected member of the TNI Board of Directors. Scott also served on TNI's Laboratory Accreditation Systems Executive Committee (LASEC) and Chemistry Expert Committee (CEC). Scott currently serves on TNI’s Competency Task Force and outside TNI is a member of the Illinois Environmental Testing Laboratory Association. He has presented at the NEMC numerous times and is a former session chair. Scott has a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Biology.
