ABSTRACT
EPA’s Office of Science and Technology will briefly summarize current Clean Water Act (CWA) method projects, future Methods Update Rules, and discuss priorities for future method projects. A status update will be given for current EPA-funded laboratory validation activities in support of the CWA. These include, but are not limited to, PFAS method efforts, a low-resolution GC-MS select ion monitoring method for PCB congeners, continuous monitoring efforts, microbiology method validation, review of Alternate Test Procedures, and other collaborative efforts. EPA will review anticipated projects for fiscal years 2022 and 2023.
