Tom Seipelt
Tom Seipelt is the Director of Product Stewardship and Food Safety at Abbott Nutrition, a Division of Abbott Laboratories. He has worked in food safety and chemical contaminant analysis for over 30 years, specializing in the application of mass spectrometry to food safety and nutrient analysis for over 20 years. As manager of the R&D Food Safety group at Abbott Nutrition, he is responsible for the development of global food safety programs, ingredient and packaging chemical risk assessment, and management of the emerging issues program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry from Ohio University.
