Kim Watson
Kim Watson is currently the Quality Assurance Manager, and Health and Safety Officer at Stone Environmental, Inc. in Montpelier, VT and has been with Stone for over 16 years. She holds a B.S. in environmental engineering from Norwich University and was trained in "Environmental Applications of Gas Chromatographic Mass Spectrometry" in 1995, at Indiana University. She is a registered quality assurance professional in Good Laboratory Practice Standards. She has over 36 years of experience in production laboratory procedures, field sampling and planning, quality control and quality assurance, and project management encompassing the EPA regulated environments (GLP, RCRA and CERCLA). She began her career with the Waste Management Division of VT DEC where she designed closure plans for waste disposal facilities, and performed water quality monitoring and sampling at the state’s landfills. Beginning in 1983, she worked for Aquatec Laboratories, which sequentially became Inchcape Testing Services and Severn Trent Laboratories (now TestAmerica) during her tenure and for 3 years was a project manager and consultant for Trillium, Inc. She specializes in laboratory and field inspections and training.
