ABSTRACT
This presentation reveals the history of the presenter’s learning and passing on a lifetime to learning. In the scientific industry we are required to be technically competent. Do we get an education and that makes us competent? Or is it more than knowing the science? Yes, It is more. There is always something new to learn.
It is about managing: yourself, others, testing, projects, and a business. In this industry we do regulatory science that is always changing due to politics, technology, methods, analytes to measure, and a lot of other items that require management. The lesson learned is that managing change is a systematic process using the scientific method and understanding the risk to: yourself, others, the testing, the project and the business.
