ABSTRACT

Innovative and continuous improvement in capillary column technology provided advancement in chromatographic separation and efficiency. The availability of wide range of column choices made the implementation of high quality data possible. The goal of this study is to evaluate dual high resolution capillary columns in relation to method quality control requirements in the analysis of regulated chlorinated pesticides such as: endrin, heptachlor, heptachlor epoxide, and methoxychlor. Various quality control parameters - initial demonstration of capability, method detection limit, matrix spike, and reporting limit validation will be evaluated. Good quality data which are realizable can be very helpful in a successful management and review as well as meeting the standard of the method. Therefore, produced results can provide better decision making tools for the data user.
