Gary Ward
Gary K. Ward is currently Program Administrator for Oregon's Lab Accreditation Program (ORELAP) for last 5 years. Previously, he was Lab Director of Accutest Mountain States Laboratory in Denver, CO, and Vice-President of Columbia Analytical Services in Kelso, WA. Before that, he was Director of Laboratories for Intertek Testing responsible for 257 laboratories world-wide, headquartered in Houston, TX. He was Lab Director of Underwriters Laboratory in South Bend, IN, after being Director of QA, EH&S, and Technology for Enseco (then Corning, Quanterra, Severn-Trent, TestAmerica) in Denver, CO. Previously, he was Deputy Director of the Analytical Support Branch in EPA's Superfund program and Program Manager of the Contract Laboratory Program (CLP). During that time, he wrote and helped write the CLP methods as well as the first draft of the 3rd Edition of SW-846. Before EPA, he was Lab Director of three NOAA labs in Washington, DC.
