Tom Patten
Tom Patten, Vice President Inter-Mountain Labs, 2002-present. Mr. Patten performed his studies while working for Newmont Metallurgical Services. He worked as Lab Manager for US Silica before coming to Inter-Mountain Labs as Quality Manager. While at Inter-Mountain Labs, he has established radionuclide and metallurgical labs. Mr. Patten has a BS in Chemistry from the University of Utah. He participates as vice-chair for ASTM sub-committee D19.06. He also participates as a US expert for review of ISO TC-147 methods. Mr. Patten is the author of an EPA Federal Equivalent Method for measuring lead in ambient air. He has written papers and presented on topics from Acid Base Accounting to Oil and Grease. Mr. Patten currently manages a professional staff of over forty employees performing sample analysis for Inter-Mountain Labs in Sheridan, Wyoming.
