Upon her graduation from Cal State Long Beach, she worked one year at the Earth Technology Lab in Huntington Beach before she begins her long life career at OCWD laboratory. She is motivated, enthusiastic and always finds way to improve her work processes. Within the first two years, she was awarded and recognized by the management for inventing the in-house “sample run log” logbook. The logbook is customized to each EPA method and still widely use within OCWD laboratory. She was also named “Employee of the Month” for her extra effort, goes above and beyond her job duty. She has over 20 year experience in environmental drinking water including a broad background in method development, instrument & software implementation, QA/QC, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) & research. She has extensive knowledge in EPA method 500 series as well as analytical instruments - GC, GC/MS, HPLC and LC/MS/MS. Since 2000, she has participated in method development and sample analysis in all three UCMR programs. Currently, she is UCMR3 QA/QC Project Lead within her laboratory. Her responsibility includes overseeing the UCMR3 project, review data & QA/QC.
