Graduated from Cal State Long Beach with BA in Chemistry.
After one year as inorganic chemist at the Earth Technology Lab in Huntington Beach, she begins her long life career at OCWD laboratory. She is motivated and enthusiasm about her works and always finds way to improve the processes. Within the first two years, she was awarded and recognized by the upper management for inventing the in-house “sample run log” logbook. The logbook is customized to each EPA method and still widely use within OCWD laboratory. She was also named “Employee of the Month” for her extra effort, goes above and beyond her job duty. She has participated in all three UCMR programs since 2000. Based on her experiences and knowledge, she was giving the title QA/QC Project Lead for UCMR program. She is responsible for review the data, QA/QC, oversees UCMR EPA methods as well as develops LC/MS/MS methods.
