John Phillips is a Principal Environmental Control Engineer in the Environmental Quality Office at the Ford Motor Company. Mr. Phillips joined Ford in 1993 and is responsible for analytical testing and the environmental laboratory management program for Ford worldwide. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 1976, and his Master of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1981. Mr. Phillips also spent 12 years as a Sr. Principal Research Chemist for Air Products and Chemicals Inc. in Allentown, PA prior to joining Ford. He is a past member of the Environmental Laboratory Advisory Board (a standing Federal Advisory Committee to the USEPA), served on the Federal Advisory Committee on detection and quantification and is currently serving on the TNI Quality System Committee.
