ABSTRACT
Recent memos from the EPA's Forum on Environmental Measurements (FEM) and memos from other agencies such as Department of Defense for procuring Data Acquisition services present statements indicate that sample collection and field measurements are to be performed by competent personnel and organizations. The presentation will provide information on: (1) How to select field sampling and collection organizations, (2 ) How to evaluate and determine a competent organization and (3) How to meet proposed and future requirements for sample collection and field measurement organizations.
