Chuck Stoner
Charles Stoner has been employed as a chemist at the U.S. Army Public Heath Command/Army Institute of Public Health (formerly CHPPM) for 20 years. Within the Institute’s chemical analysis laboratory, Dr. Stoner plans and coordinates environmental laboratory work in support of human health and environmental risk assessments, and reviews and interprets environmental analysis data.
Previously, Dr. Stoner managed the Institute’s GC/MS and metals analysis operations for 7 years. Overall, he has worked for the Army for 23 years, the first 3 of those with the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center. Dr. Stoner has been a member of the Department of Defense Environmental Data Quality Workgroup since 2008.
He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from North Carolina State University in 1986, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware in 1991.
