June Black
Ms. Black is currently the Organic Chemistry Section Chief at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Laboratories. She has been working for the Commonwealth for 14 years as an organic analyst and supervisor.
Prior to joining the Bureau of Laboratories, Ms. Black worked for several commercial environmental laboratories, also as an organic analyst and supervisor. In addition to her experience as an analyst, Ms. Black spent 8 years working for an environmental consulting firm. There she gained experience in field sampling collection techniques, interpreting analytical data and writing technical reports, and the development of several field analytical methods for volatile and semivolatile organic compounds.
Ms. Black has a degree in Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College.
