Bruce Groves
Mr. Groves has more than 30 years of industrial hygiene, safety, loss control and environmental management experience. His key experience includes conducting environmental and health and safety hazard assessments, developing and implementing worker and community air sampling programs, designing and developing computerized networks to integrate real-time environmental (air, noise, radiation, weather) monitoring at construction, hazardous waste and industrial/commercial sites; directing, evaluating and auditing the EPA and OSHA regulatory activities for various U.S. and foreign-based corporations and agencies; providing expert witness support and testimony on various environmental, industrial hygiene and OSHA compliance issues; developing air and environmental sampling plans and/or health & safety plans for numerous landfills, former manufactured gas plant sites, active and abandoned industrial sites, DOD, DOE and CERCLA designated sites; developing and directing projects in industrial hygiene and safety for construction firms, manufacturing and utility companies and indoor air quality concerns in commercial buildings.
Mr. Groves has co-developed the Greenlight™ Environmental Monitoring System which is used for real-time air monitoring at former Manufactured Gas Plant Sites, other hazardous waste sites, construction projects, and industrial sites. Greenlight was developed in 2005 and has been awarded 2 patents and has 4 other patents pending.
Mr. Groves' experience includes 25 years as President of Emilcott Associates, Inc.; environmental, industrial hygiene, safety and training management responsibilities for Ebasco Services, Inc.; various health, safety and loss control positions for AMAX, Inc.; and regulatory experience as an industrial hygienist/compliance officer for OSHA. Mr. Groves obtained a BA in Biology from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut and is a Board Certified in Industrial Hygiene.
