ABSTRACT

Environmental laboratories are adapting to evolving regulatory expectations, methylene chloride ban, lower detection limits, and increasing demands for operational efficiency. These changes place greater stress on gas chromatography workflows, particularly when analyzing diverse classes of semivolatile organic compounds that include acids, bases, and other challenging analytes. This vendor seminar will demonstrate how advances in GC column technology can help laboratories overcome these challenges while improving data quality and productivity. Real-world environmental applications and performance data will be presented to illustrate strategies for method modernization, reduced instrument downtime, improved column lifetime, and successful adaptation to changing analytical requirements.
